Suddenly, a day off.
There's a huge Blockupy protest from today until Saturday. That means, half the city will be roped off, because ten thousands of protesters are expected to participate. I hope it will stay peaceful but there are always idiots in these crowds...
But that also means, the University (and my library) will be closed. We were just notified an hour ago. I can do some work from home, so I won't even have to take an official day off.

Reading Wednesday. Not much has changed, I have to run back to the library tomorrow and drop of the books. I'll try to check out Chomp again since I haven't finished that but I think I've maxed out Moby Duck. Did finish Persopolis 2 a while ago.

I had a good birthday. The Haunted Tavern Tour was fun and I'm glad I went, it was just me, my husband and one friend. The other people who had signed up had cancelled. My friend got a good pic of some orbs in one shot and then her next shot and mine there wasn't anything there. The stories and history was pretty interesting but I liked the stories I heard in Franklin a bit better but that was a dark side of Franklin tour or Murder and Mayhem can't really remember what it was called. Afterwards ...

Someone captioned this Cumberbuff; maybe it was Benny, himself. He said this was the result of a special pre-Star Trek regimen. He really wanted that part! And I have to say, in all honesty, when that sheet dropped in Sherlock I was thinking I've seen 14-year-olds with better bodies. I know being pale keeps musculature from showing up, but, yikes. That sounds shallow, but women in TV and movies are held to such a high standard (only in the U.S.?) that it's only fair men should be, too.
